A contract apprenticeship opportunity for candidates passionate about passenger or commercial vehicles who wish to train and qualify as Petrol or Diesel Motor Mechanics. Learners will participate in all aspects of the apprenticeship programme, including assisting with vehicle repairs under the supervision of a qualified technician, fulfilling MerSETA trade requirements, completing level tests, and qualifying within a maximum of 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the Apprenticeship programme
• Assist with the repair of vehicles while working under the supervision of a qualified technician
• Fulfil the MerSETA requirements of the trade
• Complete level tests and qualify within a maximum of 3 years

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen
• Education:
• Grade 10 with Pure Mathematics/Technical Maths and Physical Science
• Completed N2 qualification or higher (including Motor Theory)
• NCV 4 (must have passed Pure Maths)
• For Diesel apprenticeships, candidates must have an N2 with Diesel Theory as a subject
• License: Valid driver's license (or willingness to obtain one)

• Genuine passion for motor vehicles, mechanics, and hands-on technical work
• Strong willingness to learn and develop practical skills
